In this our
world of today,
If you women
decide to stand fast,
There is
nothing that you cannot achieve.
With you tough
times don’t last.
You can run
that grueling marathon,
test fly a
chopper or a plane.
You can climb
the highest mountain.
You are stars
and you will win fame.
You are who
gives life to this earth.
There is
strength in your sinews.
Compassion,
beauty, thought and wisdom,
Families are
because of you.
So to you all
my lovely women friends,
Nieces,
sisters, mother and my wife,
On this Woman’s
Day as on every day,
Thank you for
the beauty in life.
